About course

As Saudi Arabia accelerates its infrastructure and urban development projects in line with Vision 2030, Building Information Modeling (BIM) has become an essential digital tool to improve project efficiency, design accuracy, and overall cost-effectiveness.

To support this transition, the Saudi Contractors Authority, in collaboration with Be Training, organized a specialized workshop titled "Building Information Modeling and Its Role in Projects Across the Kingdom", during the Future Projects Forum.

This workshop aimed to enhance the awareness and practical understanding of Building Information Modeling among engineers, contractors, and developers. It introduced participants to the strategic use of BIM across the entire project lifecycle—from initial design and scheduling to construction, operation, and maintenance.

Additionally, the course explored how BIM can be integrated with AI and predictive analytics to drive data-based decision-making and foster sustainability in construction projects.

Key topics included:

  • Understanding Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its advantages over traditional methods

  • How BIM helps reduce project waste and rework

  • Coordination between disciplines using BIM (Architecture, Structural, MEP, etc.)

  • Benefits of 3D modeling in improving design accuracy and stakeholder collaboration

  • Integration of BIM with project management and procurement systems

  • Case studies from major Saudi projects utilizing BIM

  • Challenges in BIM adoption in the local market and how to overcome them

Target Audience:

  • Project managers and engineers from both public and private sectors

  • Real estate developers and construction companies

  • Design consultants and BIM specialists

  • Professionals in digital transformation and data management

This accredited workshop provided practical knowledge and tools to help professionals lead smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable construction projects using BIM technology.
